Intimate South of France retreat in 2027 with limited places
You have done everything right : built the career, grown the business, maintained the relationships. Yet you still wake up braced.
Nahid de Belgeonne, nervous system strategist, somatic educator and author, believes you are not broken, you are bracing and that distinction is at the heart of everything she does.
With over twenty years of experience across fashion, publishing, technology and wellness, Nahid knows the world her clients inhabit because she lived it herself. Before founding The Human Method®, she was in her own words, "the woman rewarded for composure, capability and chronic motion." It was somatic work that taught her to listen to her body rather than override it and The Human Method® was born from that experience.
Her clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally their nervous systems are running survival patterns that once protected them and now keep them in low-level vigilance.
Nahid's approach works in three stages : interrupting those automatic patterns, rebuilding a natural rhythm between action and recovery and reconnecting clients with their physical experience so they can lead from steadiness rather than survival. The tools are somatic and science-backed including breath pacing, somatic movement and real-time regulation techniques. They are designed to work within a demanding life rather than by retreating from it. As Nahid puts it, your nervous system does not shift through strategy it shifts through safety.
Her work has been featured in The Times, Harper's Bazaar UK, The Guardian and The Oprah Newsletter. She is the author of Soothe : The Book Your Nervous System Has Been Longing For.
